Last June (2018), my family and I went to Santa Ponsa in Majorca for a week to the most pirate themed place I'd ever seen in my whole life. This immersive all-inclusive hotel even had the staff dressed up as pirates from the janitors to the waiting staff.
The hotel was in a brilliant area, literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and strip of shops, restaurants and bars - a good place to go after the evening kids 'entertainment' starts (totally not our thing at all).
We found the coolest cocktail bar ever called CoCo Bay right by the beach that had 6 different flavours of daiquiri slush machines and was definitely my favourite part of the holiday! Below are a selection of all the cocktails we got including both a solero slush and a twister slush.
Another favourite part of the holiday was heading to the beach each night to watch the sunset. This was really good because the beach was very quiet and definitely nowhere near as hot as it would be during the day. We also went to the shop to get some drinks to sit and watch the sunset with. I mean, who needs organised entertainment anyways?!
Finally, another one of my favourite things we did during the holiday, was climbing the stairs to the top of Santa Ponsa and seeing the views at the top of the 900 odd steps despite the sweat pouring off us, we couldn't help but enjoy the view.
